Take a Rest, Traveller…

What am I doing here? Well, I hope to have a stable “hub world” for my gazillion and one hobbies, interests, unfinished projects, and thoughts. It's likely this website will be in a perpetual state of W.I.P. and half-finished like the majority of my craftsmanship—even my ADHD medication can't mitigate that—but I'm choosing to think of it like a museum made by a wizard with a few screws loose; It might look half finished but what's on display is magic in its own right.

Oh, by the way, you can call me Kat, or Kato, or Freak of Nature. My father is fond of that last one (this is positive, don't worry).

Now a little bit of information on how I've structured, or how I'm trying to structure this, I love to organize and I love putting things in their own little areas. So I'll have a larger About in its own page, along with everything else I wish to put on display. So what I'll be putting here is a little insight into each little corner you might wish to venture off to (and a taste of how wordy I like to get).

As of right now, I plan to have my (non-fandom (or at least, not a specific fandom)) rants, rambles, and opinion pieces nestled under the About section as well.

Media Interests & Fandoms

If I were to list everything I've been into and am currently into, this page would go on forever. If I narrowed this hypothetical list down to only my current interests or only the fandoms I've participated in…we'd still be here too long. So instead, I'm going to list them on a separate page! Aka the page I'm currently rambling about.

Typically this sort of page would go under the About section, but I'm treating this section as it's own because otherwise I'd bloat the About way too much (Why? I'll get to that in a moment), and in my mental organizational system I have fandom & likes as separate from me as an entity…even if me as an entity is encompassed by a lot of my media interests.

I also have…a lot of thoughts; from canon analysis and criticism, character opinions, ships, ship opinions and analysis, headcanons, AUs, to the fandoms themselves (both good and bad). So things that I really like will end up with their own little pages no doubt.

I bet that last paragraph reads strangely to anyone not in fandom.

Writing

I primarily write fanfiction but I do dabble in original works as well. I have many original ideas I'd love to put down on paper (or code, depending on what medium I finally decide to settle on). While I may share some original creations, as of this iteration of my writing section the bulk of my creations will be fanfiction.

Now what kind? That is where we see variety! Majority of my works are one-shots and if you've read my little opening blurb you can imagine why (lol), that hasn't stopped me from writing multiple chapters for stories though and besides two stories that you can find on my Fanfiction.Net account, I am aiming to always finish what I post (a timely manner on the other hand is not guaranteed).

The variety comes in with regards to subject matter and fandom. I write for many fandoms and I write many genres, age ratings, ships, and tropes, etc. etc. I've written fluff, I've written angst, I've written light-hearted, and I've written very dark things. There's something for almost everyone (I think)!

My main home of writing is an Archive of Our Own where my full library of fics is stored. I'll save more information on crossposting and potentially crossposting here to the actual writing page.

Art

I'll save you a few clicks and tell you right now there's just a ramble without any Artwork right now. I'm not currently too proud or interested in my artwork right now, although I still want to finish a little comic for my friend at some point…
